Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address, a hashed password, display name, and avatar choice.
• Technical: limited data needed to run and secure the service, such as your IP address at sign-up and last login, and login timestamps.
• Gameplay: the data your save generates (your club, results, messages you post in-game).
• Advertising: on the free tier, our advertising partner (Google) may set cookies and process data such as your device, approximate location, and IP address to show and measure ads. See section 4.
• Payments: if you buy credits, payment is handled by our providers (Stripe, PayPal). We do not receive or store your full card details — only a record that a purchase was made.

Data packs you import are stored only in your browser and are never sent to or collected by us.

To create and run your account and the game (performance of a contract); to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to handle moderation/takedown reports (our legitimate interests); to process purchases (contract); and to show advertising on the free tier (your consent — see section 4). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. It is required for the service to work and is not used for advertising.

On the free tier we also use advertising cookies from Google (see section 4). These load only after you accept them in our cookie notice, and never for Gold members, who see no ads.

To keep FM Worlds free, we show ads on the free tier through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you. This is described in “How Google uses information from sites that use its services”.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
• Ads never appear for Gold members — upgrading removes them entirely.

With service providers that help us run the game: our host (Vercel), payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), and our advertising partner (Google). They process data on our behalf or under their own terms. We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers are outside the EEA; where that happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active, and payment records as required by law. Delete your account and we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep it (for example, records we are legally required to retain).

If you are in the EEA/UK, under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing (including advertising), and data portability, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. The game is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data or show them personalised ads.
